Here's an excerpt from an article about a bill that would prevent fat people from suing restaurants for making them fat:

The trial lawyers group contributed $4.2 million to federal campaigns and political parties in the last election cycle, with 91 percent going to Democrats, according to the Washington-based Center for Responsive Politics.

Restaurants and bars contributed $7 million, with 77 percent going to Republicans. Food manufacturers gave $3.3 million, with 86 percent going to Republicans.

Does anyone else see anything wrong with this? Apparently right and wrong don't matter. What matters is how much you donate to someones campaign!

It is sad when laws are made to define common sense. It shows the decay of the judicial system, mainly judges and the juries.
