Why the need for high doses?

I don't see any pro's here, if there are, then they keep it secret. The only top level comp. around here, seems to be Quad, and even he keeps his dosages in check. He admits that they are getting a little high now, but look how long that took him to get to that point. He is also a top level NPC bodybuilder.

So, whats the deal with all these people doing gram a week this, and a gram a week of that. Not to mention just about everyone dabbling in insulin these days. Yet many have no aspirations of ever stepping on stage. This is a 'trend' that is getting way out of hand. It's not just this board, but a lot of them.

I think Slobberknocker does 750mgs of test, and he is over 300lbs, that Dante guys said he never has gone over a gram yet, he is 310 hard lbs, I am 262 or so, and I am currently running 250-500 tops a weeks of test eth. I see guys like Clint who train hard, and make sure everything else is in order. You never see him say "I think this test is fake, I have only gained 2lbs" Hell, I'm not even sure he takes anything! But you sure do hear him talk about all the hard work, and food he eats. Tons of other guys AND gals like that on the boards. But for every one of those, theres 10 more people who comes on with a 15 post count, claiming they know it all, and that a gram of test or slin is safe. Don't even try to tell them otherwise, they will flame you to death!

Somethings really not right with that....
 
Forgot to add, I'm not talking about someone like Fonz for example, who obviously knows what he is doing. But rather these young guys who come on this board, with maybe 5 posts, and talking about things like "slin is safe. No need for carbs, protein will do just fine. also, make sure you have a bro who calls you every now and then, they dont need to know you are taking anything, just have them call you every few days" or some crap like that.
 
but they want to add on as much weight on as possible, who cares about the water weight, who cares about the side effects, as long as they weight on the scale is increasing they are happy. that way they can go from 160lbs to 185 in 2 weeks while looking like a balloon.
 
this type of post has already been posted a bunch the last week..........who knows why, these people want the gear to do the work for them, not themselves
 
The post about Shawn Ray made me think about this. Lot's of pro's are getting serious health problems. It made me think about how many I see posting who aren't even thinking about competing, who take 'pro' like dosages. Should someone who is just looking to add a little muscle really be messing around with slin? Or how about someone who never wants to enter a contest, bodybuilding or powerlifting, do they have any business touching over 1,000mg a week?!

exactly, why eat big and train hard when u can just add another 250 or 500mg of test and get the same results without doing either. too bad the results are mostly water and will diminish quickly after the cycle.

DOODS! I was in the gym yesterday for 3 hours and I didn't gain a single pound the whole workout. Should I up my test to 1500grams every other day now?

dude your fucking retarted....why would you even go to the gym for more than 30 minutes when a gram of test will do all the work :D
 
LOL Dialtone... You are a perfect example. You looked great when you were up on the stage, and you were doing less than some people do for their first cycle! Last time I checked, you still weren't doing that much. If people think you need a high dose, they need to check out Dialtones lat spread. Thickness, width... and no 1,500 grams of test with slin, a-bombs and perhaps some fina for good measure.

I remember some guy posting about his 'amazing' transformation. I think he put on like 60lbs during a cycle. He looked like a fat, bloated blob. He was also doing about 2g a week of gear (first cycle, around 18 or so). He was upset when nobody was giving him a pat on the back.
 
I have tried cycles with a panoply of AAS in the 2.3g/week range. Just to see how it was.

For me, it was total overkill.

I think that unless you want to get as big as possible at any cost, there's 1,2 or maybe 3 AAS that are tailor-made to your physique, and give you your desired results at a low/moderate dosage.

I normally oscillate now between 400mg/week-1400mg/week total AAS.

1400mg/week only when I'm doing SERIOUS cardiovascular activity(3+ hours/day).

When not, I feel great on 400mg/AAS week.

I never go over 250mg test/week though. Test makes me very irritable at high dosages.
