Has anyone considered leasing an HPLC and setting up shop to test gear, and only gear? I know San Rafael tests gear, but the price seems high, and I think I read the required sample size is large.
The "lab" I'm suggesting could:
1) adjust price of a test so that it simply covers the lease price for the instrument. A co-op, if you will.
2) accept extremely small sample sizes - you could have a single amp tested by pulling, say, 100mL only.
What are your thoughts on this? Is there a demand for this?
