Ok so im 19 years old and everybody whos ever meant anything to me has told me that steriods are very bad, they stated that they will only give me temperary muscles and that if I stop even for a bit they will go away .. they also told me that your mind goes into hyper drive when doing them and they can make you go insane at least to the point where you are more irritable, so my question to you all is why take them then .. also just out of curiosity I weigh 165 pounds and im lean but im not very strong with doing 5 sets of 10 reps bench(120 lbs 5x10), free weight dumb bells(20 lbs5x10), leg work 160 lbs 5x10, 100 crunch's, chin ups (5 x10), and 100 lbs of that machien that works your chest where as you sit in a chair and grab the handles from behind you and close it infront of you yall know what im talking about what kinda results would I see after 6 months without steriods and with and please state what kind of steriods would be best, I have no plans on using them however im a very curiouse person in nature ... also I dont mean to frieghten peopel who are using steriods or say that what iv been told is true ...

OK… But who gives a crap… I body build! It has never been about how much weight I can push but rather the size of the muscle. Do not get me wrong, we do get stronger but for me that is not the ultimate goal!!

wow guys I never meant to upset anybody honest, im simply telling you what iv been told , and yea I weigh 165 punds and I can only rep those dumb bells that say 20 on em im not sure if that means their only 20 lbs or if thats only one side so I guees it could be 40 lbs but it says 20 on it, im not saying im very strong at all ... is that very weak anyways?, jeez guys obvoiusly im new to the game
 
Keep working out and start eating right. Stick around and read some threads, and you'll see why people use gear. Maybe down the road, you'll know if they're right for you.

I started this “game” @ 143lbs 7 years ago… I trained naturally until 3 years ago.
Yesterday I met with my trainer.. Weighed in @ 216 @ 5.6% BF.. I am 37 years old..5'11"

My oldest daughter starts dating in about 4 years.. I should be able to get to 225-230 8%bf (or less) by then… Who needs a gun!!

no thats not my point at all!, im simply saying what iv been told the reasponse I was hoping for is, man youv been told a bunch of bull or somethign because (insert fact) or insert (experiance) I know the way I worded my first post was going to get alot of people mad but im slightly retarded for real so my enlglish gets really jumbled up and I cant convey my thoughts very well so it comes off as being rude , I didnt mean to upset anybody and I know im not strong im simply trying to understand why if their is risks why people do them,

there are risks in driving a car on the interstate but i still do it because i have to get to work

Do you drive a car, eat fast food or breath??? There are risks to all of those but likely do them all.

You have to ask yourself does the benefit out weight the risk.. For me it does!!

If AAS are used by adult males ( I say over 28) in a controlled educated manner then the risks are significantly reduced!!

Thier are risks to everything..the aspirin you take for your headache, the burger you had at lunch...steriods get blown out of proportion when it comes to this...also dont believe everything you here from people that probably have never injected anything themselves..I never understand this..how can you give an opinion on something you clearly dont have experience on nor have studied on...heresay?

Oh I see now, so the benifit out weighs the risk, I just dont understand why you have to keep attacking me personally, obviously 20 lbs is prob nothing to you but thats the only weight I can do without my arms hurting alot after doing 50 reps

Come back when you can bench 225x10, weigh 195lbs and are 23 years old and the members here will help you with your first cycle.

Why bother doing steroids now when you likely dont have the patience or the dedication to make bodybuilding part of your life when you become an adult? I mean not to sound like a jerk, but Im 35 and probably 1% of the people who were lifting at your age are still training like me today. You probably arent that 1%.
