Why no libido boost on test?

I am doing my first cycle as of now for 5 weeks. Testosterone propionate solo. I like the strenght, and I gain a lot of weight so far. One thing I don't understand – they say you should have a nice boost in libido and sexdrive while on, but I got it worse. What is wrong?

Since you did not mention an AI, I assume that you are not taking it, and most probably this is the reason. When taking testosterone, it will aromatize into estrogen, and high levels of this female hormone will lead to lots of side effects, including ED and low libido. You need to start taking aromasin ASAP at 10 mgs ED for one week, and then EOD from the second week on. This should solve the issue.

not everyone has the same effects on hormones. most people do have a boost in libido, but some do not.. you aren't the first

ironically a boost in test and estrogen would typically raise libido, not drop it. it is a drop in test and rise in estrogen that would cause a drop in libido in most people

From my limited knowledge, your estrogen level may be too high. You will probably need to start taking an AI which will lower your estrogen levels.

What you need to do is add an AI to your cycle. This will bring your estrogen levels down and fix your libido problems.

Get aromasin and start taking 10mg EOD.

Just lower your estrogen, so relative to testosterone it will be somewhat lower.

Some people just respond this way. Remember that you are messing with hormone levels in your body. Get some blood work to see if it is estrogen related or not to be sure.
