Exactly it is gay this and gay that. I mean why does such a small % of the population get so much attention it seems like Equal Fag Opportunity for the homos like it was for the blacks. ok if you post some facts, I'll agree with you. while i find the family structure to be very important to society, I will disagree with the point of empires crumbling because the family structure of those empires went to shit.

I saw an interview with Noam Chompsky, and he basically said the same thing -- when the family unit breaks down, society gets fucked up. I don't remember specifics, but he mentioned the Romans and a few other dead civilizations as examples. Anyway, I don't think he meant a textbook family unit with a mom and dad, 2.5 kids and all that...but rather a family in the most basic sense of the word (one or more parents/relatives raising children to the age of majority, and caring for elderly family members). That leaves room for polygamy, alternative lifestyles, group marriage, divorce and re-marriage, etc.
