Why is OUTLOOK Express doing this?

I click send/recieve, it says the usual "Recieving Message 1 of 1" and the email icon in the taskbar shows up, but I have nothing in my inbox? This has been happening alot lately....am I missing emails or what??

if they have huge attachments it might just take a while to receive them....

that is an extremely out there guess, i dont know much about it,
but i do use outlook2000

Sometimes when the mail server is over loaded, it times out, or someone may be sending you a large file or .mpeg. If you just sit and wait does it give you any errors you might have to click the details button after you hit the send/receive.

you can test your e-mail by sending something to yourself to check for problems.
