Why is Heatherrae banned?

howcome when other people get banned or put on timeout, the threads are usually locked when people start asking about it. isn't it typically a taboo subject? take for instance the temporary banning of JH1, Gambino, etc.

I'm going to guess it's because the thread is remaining civil, constructive and devoid of emotionally-supercharged conspiracy theories.

Of course, the fact that the un-civil, un-constructive, emotionally supercharged poster mentioned in the thread is in time-out helps a lot too.

I'm going to enjoy EF a little bit more this weekend.

Because rarely do conversations of bannings take a constructive angle. People love drama, and really seem to love dredging up more drama. Not only that, but we all work with or are friends with those who seem to love complaining more than actual action. I cannot tell you how many people I see IRL who bitch and moan all day long, but never actually do anything about it. Very similar to internet life.

If someone really disagrees with the banning (temp or perm) of someone, don't you think a well-thought-out, intellegent emai lto admin or a mod is a better way of "rectifying" the wrong? BUT, if they did that, nobody would know about it, nobody would fight, nobody would name-call, etc .... and apparently, some people's lives are so dull they get their jimmies off internet drama.
