Why is everyone programmed to think that anabolic steroids are worse than crack, smack, pcp, heroin, and what not??? this is starting to get on my nerves that everyone talks so much shit about roids yet they don't have the slightest clue. I tell one of my friends i'm juicin' he like "oh your dick is gonna shrink and your gonna grow boobs, and your gonna have a heart attack" so i had to go off on him like he was an uneducated idiot, and that he watches too much 60 minutes... I just dont understand why the image for AS is so bad.. oh well i just wanted to bitch, im sure some people here are with me on this one ...

Thank Joe Wieder. Joe couldn't sell steroids... so his magazines vilified them in order to create a marekt for "steroid substitutes."

One of the reasons is that you never hear anything good from the media about AAS usage. The only storys I can recall are; Lyle Alzato(sp) and other sports player all portrayed in a negative way. One will also hear about how a guy just got busted with X amount of juice while he was running from the cops for beating his girlfriend. Of course they blame everything on the Steriods,not the fact that she was a cheating whore.
Knowone ever publishes the stories of how an older man started taking HRT to keep him from waisting away,or how it helped an Aids patient. Also, i think people think that all Steriods are a foreign matter to the human body. They don't realize that the body produces testosterone and by injecting test you are not introducing something new,but just adding to what is already there. I get almost the same reaction from creatine. Most people think that it is a terrible drug,yet the human body already produces small amounts of it.

Final food for thought:If the american media had been telling the american public for the last 20 years that fast food is very healthy and water is what makes you fat. Most people would believe that because they're too fucking lazy to do any research.
