Why have Perth (Australia) doctors stopped prescribing

There were a handful of docs in Perth, Western Australia who used to prescribe gear to bodybuilders, (for an under-the-table price of coarse, which nobody minded paying) it was the only way people could get stuff legaly and it was safer under the docs supervision, not to mention being pharma grade gear. Apparently the WA Medical Board came in and put a stop to all this. Some of the docs are still around but they no longer prescribe and some have disappeared off the face of the earth completely... Can anyone shed some light on this topic? Do you feel as though that Methadone being handed out to Heroine addicts like candy is a little contradictory of the WA Medical Board who stopped allowing us to obtain our gear in a safe and legal manner?

This issue has been the Elephant in the room in Perth's bodybuilding community for a while now but no one seems to want to discuss it openly. Anyone's ideas, thoughts,comments on this topic are much appreciated.
