Why exactly is dairy bad when cutting?

if im correct, i believe it is because of the galactose, high gi carb not good wehn cutting. is this correct?

Amunition....

this is simple... dairy is considered bad because of the lactose
content that it contains. Lactose is famous for tuning to fat!

This is a myth that refuses to die. No, dairy will not make you fat. The sugar in milk is lactose which is part glucose and part galactose. Galactose is similar to fructose in that it preferentially refills liver glycogen and can consequently hinder lipolysis(fat loss)For this to occur, however, you'd have to be drinking absolutely huge amounts of milk, and even then it's questionable if it'd have a noticeable effect. If I recall correctly, an 8oz glass of milk has 3-4g of galactose and one needs to consume upwards of 50g of fructose/lactose a day, before it becomes an issue. So the answer is: don't worry about it.
