Why does my user title periodically get deleted?

On more than one occasion my user title under my name has been removed...I don't know if it's a glitch in the system or a mod's doing. It happened again today, and I didn't notice until someone pointed it out to me on another thread.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Someone was fucking with my avatar a few months ago when I had my amazingly squeezable glutes in there. No one would fess up either.
