Why does my computer do this with certain mpegs??

When I click on some links (example: the taco bell street fight link), my windows media screen pops up and starts to connect and try to play the mpeg, except the video screen is blue and at the bottom it says "ambience: water". The video screen starts doing all this wierd graphics and the actual mpeg of what its supposed to be never plays. WHY???? Ive missed out on a lot of good mpegs because of this shit.

i d/l and installed the free version and it still didnt work.

get the Nimo Codec pack. If you can't play something after installing that there may be a problem. You should run adware after since it comes with spyware but that easily removed.

if you are running 98 or above i'd also run windows update.
