seems like every gal here is a coug
what's the deal?
I'm only a "cougar" by age, not by actions or behaviors, and I'm in a relationship.
I went through a LOT of weight training boards and EF had the most interesting and lively blend of social interaction with good, solid training/diet information, plus the HRT forum is interesting to me since my husband is on it. Shit, I get more of my "world news" from EF than I do from the local news stations.
Now why are most of the women on the board in their mid 30s and up ... one thing, most women get to a certain age and finally "GET IT" meaning you realize you aren't responsible for meeting anyone's expectations, or being something you aren't and can never be. You allow yourself to do things that "girls aren't supposed to do" and you finally lose the need to look like a supermodel.
Another thing ... males have an advantage over us in the aging department, and that's a fact. Weight training is the best thing a woman can do for her body on so many levels to fight time, it builds bone mass, increased muscle mass kind of offsets the metabolic slowdown that starts hitting and if you lift heavy enough it increases natural HGH levels.
I could be wrong, I just know why I'm here
