Why does Clomid cause Acne?

Currently in PCT using Nolva/Clomid/HCG. Everytime I use clomid I break out on my back and shoulders. Any of you guys know what about clomid causes this? Been bugging me for years. Thanks!

But it isn't always the case, I've done a few cycles now, the only time I have problems with backne was when I used clomid pct.

I use nolva all the other times and had no problem whatsoever, with acne or recovery.

Clomid tends to fuck with the skin imo.

gotta go with fluctuating hormone levels myself. I tend to break out a little at the beginning of a cycle and a little after I come off.

I think it more specifically is due to an abundance of FSH. There is an increased production of sebum which leads to a higher occurence of acne. Tomorrow is my last dose of Clomid/Nolvadex. I have experienced pretty much everything that has been touched on to this point. The first week, I was downright sensitive. It was pathetic. I would just call my girl and tell her that I love her, and crap like that.

Clomid is an estrogen agonist in some tissues/organs
I think it is an agonist in the skin, thus causing pimples, just like females or males in puberty and females on the b/c pill.
