This holiday celebrates the past. "America Sucks" could have been a reference to current political policies, you do not know. You assumed, possibly too much.

Besides locking threads goes against the basic foundation of this country does it not? When you controll which topics are deemed appropriate or not and when they can be discussed, well then you create a distinctly Unamerican atmosphere.

ps. plus i was giong to say something positive. i was going to say that when i wake up in the morning and dont have to see gorillas with guns and get to wear whatever i want and do whatever i want (except post controversial stuff on Elite), my first thought is definitely NOT "america sucks."

I've never seen gorillas carrying guns. I saw one playing with a kitten, once. OFten times, they're just carrying sticks and getting ants in logs with them.
