Good question.. I have not thought about it lately. Hum, I guess to look good, but you know what. Anytime I am off cycle people compliment me more.
 
I am a conceited person so looking good is my reason. It is the greatest feeling to have females checking you out all the time.

Do your fucking best to look good and have every woman want you! and every man want to be you! Shit, why would you want to go threw life being so-so looking when you can be a fucking god!!!
 
Looking good is kind of a vague option..to some 190 ripped is looking good, to me its a shredded string bean lol...you also forgot an option for strength..its very addictive!!!!!

Good point but its somewhat related to the looking good option as far as just feeling good about yourself.

I'm 47 and have no desire to:
1) Shave all the hair off my body. that would be a full time job
2) wear skimpy trunks on stage
3) pose in said skimpy trunks

Now, a PL meet I may be up for next year...

MrFlex, what do you bet that alot of the guys who answered just for looks use higher does than us but do not compete? LoL

I'm on 400 mg of eq once a week, with 50 mg of winstrol a day (and sporting arms just a tad under 19"). How about you?
 
You can put 100lbs of muscle on an insecure person,yet will that make him secure,I think not.
If it isn,t for ego it,s for the latter reason in some cases.
Not a flame but a fact see it all the time especially with the newbie roiders out there

None of the above......I'm a powerlifter and they help a bit, that's the only reason.

LOL- these days u have to rephrase that to include gays too.

the reason i use AAS is for strength even though i don't compete. being strong gives me a kick whether it is lifting in the gym or a brawl. :evil:
looks is secondary but quite important too- 'cept that having spoken abt looks, a full head of healthy hair is beneficial too.
 
I loved eating and I loved working out. So I just got big. When big wasn't enough, I started to love steroids too...Good Stuff...Make's you crazy sometimes though when you gotta wait a while for your shit.
 
I wish that this poll included for medical reasons. I take steroids and test 'cause my doctor tells me to. Thanks! Alan.

That could be true, but that would have to do more with not knowing enough about diet and training overall to make the most use out of the steroids they do have. Sadly it seems that in US society more is always better...
 
For the STRENGTH and the looks are an definte added bonus. But what really gets my rocks off is getting that weight with that crazy/angry/amazed look in your eyes like your gonna snap and seeing people take notice.

....but you can't forget the real benefit...the bitches with badonkadonk :D
 
I want to be compettive in snowboarding, motorcross, and downhill biking well into my 50's. Most of these guys in the sports dont go much after 30 because of the abuse their body takes and lack of training....

Ok, thought about it one more time. Why do I use steroids? Because I can! Because I can afford to buy them! Because I have the knowledge on how to use them to my advantage! For MORE strength and energy! To feel more alive! To feel more manly! To look fucking good and feel good about myself! NUFF SAID!

Steroid use is illegal and I don't do anything illegal, so hypothetically if I was to use them it would be this:

We are really just biological animals with wants and needs to accumulate wealth. Call it Darwinism, but it is still survival of the fittest -- smarter, stronger, and powerful.

I want to make the best of what I have and do.
I like nice things and want nice things.

Most people are too ignorant to ever get to know someone, so they judge based on how you look. One "look" at someone in great physical shape attains instant respect in a country 2/3 full of fat people. It is a proven fact that "attractive" people are trusted more, respected more and treated better.

It is funny when I think about it, but I even have attractive women hold doors for ME.
Okay, so I guess it is to attain a "look". :)
 
Whether you want to be strong, or your an athlete, or your a competitive bodybuilder, ... I think that its safe to say, that most users enjoy the aesthetic portion of using gear, and the way it makes their bodies look better. If they didnt, I would say they were lying.

I go because deep inside I feel like their is an ancient warrior preparing his body for the ultimate sacrifice. Deep down inside I want to train so I can take as many warriors to valhalla with me where there will be pretty of drink and female companionship there. I do it so I can look at some of these pitifull people in my age group that complain about getting out of bed in the morning whilst I still do the activities I did when I was in my teens, and then listen to these peons talk about "How long do you think you can continue these things?" and my answer " Till the mother fucking day I die asshole!!".

I do it because I hear stories of ancient Warriors like the Spartan King Leonidas that at age 60+ stood in the front lines with his men to fight with his men.

Theres a little bit of warrior in all of us I think.
 
i am gifted genetically as far as cuts and definition naturally, but AAS gives me that extra 10 lbs of rounded muscle that makes a HUGE asthetic difference. yup, i do em cause i like the way they make me look, and feel.
 
right now...for althletic reasons, but for later, to look good and just be ripped. plus...when im on, one day you just get that kick and your like 'holy shit this just kicked in" and from there on its like you just cant be touched, you are invincible, and just get this insane rush being juiced up. <---im sure you guys get what im saying.

If you are a gun-totting, pickup-driving, bigger-is-better, unshaven, distended-gut type of guy then more power to you for being a "tough" guy.

Like I said earlier, our culture is so narrow-minded and ignorant that if by looking a certain way gets you more respect, money, and admiration then fine. Personally, my goal is to make as much money as fast as I can. Take advantage of our "culture" and move to a land where there are real people and real culture.

its a high unlike any other.not to mention self confindence strength,size,overall well being.i have many injurys so it has helped huge in the recovery for that and you look good doing it. ;)

Shit bro! Do it to look good and feel good. Just yesterday some girl at the gym came up to me and told me that I had the most amazing upper body in that whole gym. If it works...then do it! And today some dude was like " hey! what supps are you taking because you look amazing?". I was....PROTEINFACTORY!! LMFAO!!!
