Why do women marry guys that are old enough to be their father and then some or in some cases older than their father? It really makes me want to puke

Ok, so we have come the conclusion that it is "all about the money"... which in many cases, I am sure it is. I mean, it's not like "an old guy" could be smart, funny, have a heart of gold and treat a woman like she is worth anything, right?

This has always boggled my mind because my sister (28) is involved very seriously with a 49 year old man. In her case, I don't think it is about the money because she makes way more than he does....Personally, I couldn't do it!!!

Women want providers. Older men are more established and can usually provide better then the younger guys. They are also more experienced, mature, and willing to settle down (traits that women also like). Men also age pretty well, and look more distinguished with time. THey don't start looking bad until they hit their late 50's or early 60's.
All that is great for us men, because it means we will be able to bang the young hotties right up until retirement! I'll admit it does suck for the really young guys, but look on the bright side. You'll be getting ALOT more pussy as you get older. And in the meantime there there are plenty of 14 and 15 year olds to fool around with.
Women on the otherhand only become less desirable with time. They have it much harder.

Bottom line is I think that it is an individual preference. I have ALWAYS prefered older men. How much older? My exhusband was nearly 7 years older. I was 21 when we started dating.
The oldest man that I had ever dated was 61 (I was 34). Did he have money? HELL YES. Did I also find him to be charming, charismatic and one of the most interesting men that I had ever met? HELL YES? Was it PURELY about the money?
NO - A RICH JERK IS STILL A JERK. I don't have time for jerks.
I let him go because I didn't love him (Yea, I got issues LOL).
BUT - IT IS JUST AS EASY TO LOVE A WEALTHY MAN AS IT IS TO LOVE A POOR ONE.
And before yall jump all over me and start with the "I told you so" shit, the first man that I fell madly in love w/after my ex didn't have a pot to piss in OR a window to throw it out of (only one year older than me). He was a single father of three. But, in the end we decided that we were much better friends than lovers... HIS CHOICE - not mine.
The man that I am dating now is eerily similar to the last guy I fell for, BUT this guy realizes what a wonderful man he is AND has more than enough money for me.
I told him up front: I can struggle on my own. Been succeeding quite well till now, thank you very much. If I am going to give up my "freedom" then it will be to secure my children's futures.
See, it is a GIVEN that any man that I am with will be kind and supportive of me and love me the way that I am capable of loving FIRST. I would NEVER EVER bring a man around my children that did not treat me the way that I wanted THEM to be treated in an adult relationship. That is why I am divorcing their father. NO AMOUNT OF MONEY CAN MAKE UP FOR THIS SHORT-FALL.
