Wtf? If you`re invited over someone`s house and bring a big cake with you as a gift for dessert or something, but when you open the box, one piece is cut out of it. What`s the big deal? It`s a huge cake and it`s not like they payed for it AND you`re gonna be getting a piece anyway.

They act all offended and shit.

If I get a Pizza delivery with only 7 slices in the box, then I would question it.
 
Also, do you check your pizza to make sure it`s all there before you pay the delivery guy?

Do you check the carton of eggs at the store before putting them in your cart?

Who knows, maybe they would`nt get upset if I declined a piece of cake when they offered later. That would even things out.

Actually, who really OWNS the cake when I get it in their house. I never really said anything like "This is now YOUR cake" So technically it`s still mine. Why the fuck are they mad at that shit? It`s a huge cake for like 20 freaking people and there`s ONE slice missing.

Next time I just won`t accept a second slice while I`m there. Case closed.

There is no difference between this and the cake scenario. Both have pieces that are missing. It's an incomplete cake/pizza.

Next time, just pre-slice the whole cake and arrange it artfully on a platter. That way no one will know (and you can steal more than one piece that way).
