why do companies make ugly clothes?

honestly. I go out and there are clothes everywhere and there is honestly pieces of clothing that look good on no one and are just plain unbearably ugly. I really wanna know who approves these things.

Ugly clothes normally are worn by poor people - they get old and worn out, or look like surplus and seconds. But it has become fashionable to buy clothes to resemble these poor people because it is in fashion to dislike that which is good and imitate that which is dirty/evil/degrading. This also mocks poor people who dress this way not out of choice but out of necessity.

designer labels... even the highest fashion labels... all produce crap. Initial lines are used to plan next seasons lines. Sales and trendsetters will determine which styles hold on and which end up as... ugly clothes. Who woulda ever though tapered pants would be back in... o yeah.. hedi slimane did.
