Why do a lot of people think juicers are losers?

It is all stigma. People think we are crazed animals. I am an upstanding person other than my use of AS. I donate money to the community. I don't drink, smoke or do any other drugs. I am a big brother. I have never been arrested. I have not been in a fight in over 12 years, since I was in High School. I help the old lady next door carry her groceries in and take out her trash for her. According to the law, I am a felon because of AS. Does this make me a bad person just because I want to look good and be strong. You decide!!

Lots of reasons-

1) Jealousy: When you see someone that is in great shape and looking good, often the first reaction is jealousy for most people.

Regarding Juicers in general, I think there are two main reasons-

1) People think that all you need to do is stick this magic needle in your ass and then two weeks later you are built like schwarzenegger. Some people see it as "cheating"

2) the stigma associated to needles

Personally, I have never, and will never, take steroids. But I have no grudge against people that choose to do so.

It's part of the anti-steroid propaganda agenda. Besides crucifying AAS users with the legal system, turning the general public and their friends, significant others, etc. against them and making them feel like outcasts and degenerate drug addicts is just another way to try and dissuade usage. Peer pressure, nothing more and it only works on the weak minded which is why I don't see it working on steroid users.

Yet others seem to think its a magic pill and you can take AAS and power lounge all day and still look like a pro. Most people just dont realize how much work goes into becomming big, strong and ripped. After all, how many times have you talked to someone aboutworking and and here "I dont want to get huge and bulky"......hahaha, that one kills me, they seem to think its easy naturally and just another reason they cant understand AAS use.

I love that analogy Zyg. People really have no idea what they are talking about and think that steriods are magic. I think they just use it as a excuse for why they look so shitty and others look great. They just say "Well they do steroids" as an excuse. Jelousy has a ton to do with it. Fuck em, you can't please everybody, it's none of their fucking business what we do anyway.

Let me preface this by saying I have never used anabolic steroids.

I really like the comparison to teeth whitening and boob jobs.

From what I hear from friends, it isn't as much the needles as it is the "cheating."

"sure he's big but he used steroids" Then they talk about how bad steriods will mess up your health. These are the same ppl that tell me I take too much creatine and protein drinks and its going to kill my liver and kidneys. Like that big spare tire around thier waist isn't bad for thier heart? They also think I lift with *too much* intensity

I have a friend who is a huge WWE fan, he thinks almost all of them are natural. I think almost all of them are juicing. Not only because of the look but also because of thier hectic schedules. Hell I think everyone on the cover of Men's Fitness and Men's Health is juicing too, maybe I'm just jaded?

I'll shutup and quit rambling now.

This debate could go on forever. It comes down to the media and ignorance; simple as that. For the people that look down in us for juicing, its jealously. Deep down they want to look like us, but they don't have the determination or dedication to even belong to the same gym. As for family, everything is situational; if it's better that they don't know then don't tell them. As for the jealous little half-assed lifters who try and knock us off our pedestal, :finger: FUCK 'EM and let them WATCH US GROW!!!.....:D

what kills me is anytime I go somewhere after the gym with my workout uniform on, I always get fat/shitty lookin people that look at me and laugh, and I wonder what iare their fat asses laughing at???? right now I look like arnold schwarzenegger and they are looking like chris farley or star jones......I dont get it!!!!!

Down here in the Deeeeeeeeeep South :nopity: it's more like angry leers and disgruntled whale sounds I usually encounter... Does this make me happy? Does it full fill my emotional needs? Does it taste good with melted cheese? Do I enjoy being a gym "outlaw"? :goatslaye Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Yesssssssssssssssss! :spin: Nothing excites me more than walking into the gym (especially in January) and getting leers from Fat People and angry scowls from guys who are with their girlfriend/wife and don't aren't ripped at about 6% body fat. :inflate: It's FUN!

Usually I walk into the gym with my Body By Tokkyo or Testosterone (I save my Got Fina shirts for church) and have a fun time getting attention - good or bad any publicity is good publicity! Enjoy being differen't and take advantage of it!

I think for lifters in general people often associate us as being dumb and not able to do anything that requires much of a brain and hence there is nothing left for us to do but get strong and big. I think the reality of it is if some well proportioned monster walks into the room people naturally realize they are inadequete in comparison physically and hence they rely on the mentality they are superior mentally....god forbid the accept defeat in both the physical and mental departments :)

That entire post was great but I like the quote above the best. It's so true. Just as when a beautiful woman walks in the room all the other women start bad mouthing her.
