Why combine T3 with GH?

A bud of mine is going in for ankle reconstruction. He's going on GH after to help rebuild.. He was told to take T3 with the HGH. Anyone know why? I've searched but cand find info about the two combined.. he does not need to loose any weight.

One of the Doctors on this board suggest Armour Thyroid

HGH induces hypothyroidism, so the Armour is used to overcome it. Armour is much safer and easier to dose than T3 (cytomel).

too late, t3 already in the house. isn't armour just decicated thyroid gland extract?

60mg daily for the Armour--assuming you ahve normal thyroid function. It would be higher for someone truly hypothyroid. Armour is a combo of both T4 and T3.
