why clomid post cycle and not nolva?

i already have my opinions on this matter, but i just wanted to hear what you guys think.

(in general) the reason to use clomid post cycle is to block estrogenic feedback to the hypothalamus making the hypothalamus "think" that there is less overall androgens in the body. this in turn makes the hypothalamus "want" to produce more natural testosterone, thus helping to keep gains.

since biochemically the sole purpose to use clomid post cycle is to block estrogen why not use nolvadex to do the job since nolva has more affinity to the estrogen receptor than clomid?

keep in mind i'm not saying people should use nolva instead of clomid, but i would like to hear some arguments for why either one should be used over the other.

Nolva is indicated for breast tumors that are estrogen dependent. Clomid is indicated for certain types of infertility but not for breast tumors. Nolva is also indicated for certain types of infertility but Clomid is the one most prescribed as it is well known that Clomid is infamuous for causing multiple pregnancies -- twins, triplets, even septuplets, etc.

Though they are both anti-estrogens, they are not identical compounds. I will NOT use Clomid for gyno-prevention because it is not indicated for that but Nolva is so indicated. I will therefore use Nolva DURING my cycle and Clomid AFTER my cycle (while continuing Nolva).

I've always heard Clomid worked for post-cycle recovery. And it worked for me. Only lately there are new theorists who say flip-flop the conventional wisdom and use Clomid as a gyno-preventive and use Nolva for post-cycle recovery. Just like, all of a sudden, Deca is this worthless steroid compared to the rest. Deca was always known for good and solid gains and minimum side-effects. NOT ANYMORE say the new theorists.

I know Deca ALONE works great FOR ME. I know I can take test with Nolva and have NO gyno-problems. And I know I can take Clomid post cycle and after 3 weeks my balls and sex drive are back to normal (pre-cycle norms).

Why don't I use nolva for post-cycle recovery? Because I am on it during cycle and it probably would not make much of a difference to just stop everything BUT the Nolva and expect my natural test levels to just be back to normal in three weeks. AND Clomid is proven BY ME, TO ME, to work post-cycle. My nuts can get relatively huge post-cycle with the proper manipulation of Clomid therapy.
