Why can't I see anyone's avatars?

I just realized, that I haven't seen one in a while.....I noticed because people were saying nice avatar to board members (that appear to have no avatar) Is there something wrong with my computer?

Go into your profile and then edit options, you should find the option in there to turn on and off avatars

There is an option wether or not to show people's avatars and signatures in your profile set up!
