Why aren't all steroids both oral and injectable ?

I understand methylation or esterification can alter the steroid itself or its effects (like dball changing to EQ) but personally i'd love some injectable anavar, non methylated and less toxic anadrol ,winstrol.

When they set out to make a particular steroid they have a goal in mind. They make it according to how it will be used. Oxandrolone was first used for little girls. So they didn't want to make something you have to inject. The same thing with Anadrol and Winstrol. They were specifically designed to treat diseases. Esterfied steriods are made to replace testosterone in T deficient men. It's intended for long term use. Nandrolone is anyone's guess. It's used mainly for women with osteoporisis who certainly don't want injections BUT because it's designed with a prolonged half-life, much to OUR dismay, those women can get one dose every month.
I agree though that these companies should have posted a poll on the boards to see what WE need from them since we're their chief source of income.

Some compounds simply can not be made to survive the digestive tract.

Now you have a job ahead of you.....become a chemist and make everything you want.............

LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe most of the steroids around nowadays are not products of pharm companies trying to cure any disease.
Since materials are available and most if not all steroid labs are in touch with the users (athletes) this could be done.

Either way i don't see how an injectable primo was developed and not an injectable anavar. And how about a non methylated winstron injectable ?

The first goal of drug companies is to make a drug that is in pill form and taken once daily. If that can't be accomplished, they look for other routes of administration- injections are the last resort. That being said, it is probably accurate to say that the injectable forms of test, deca, etc were tried as orals first and found to be uneffective. One of the problems is that, oral or injectable, the AAS still has to pass through the liver. If a compound like anavar gets destroyed by the liver, then it will have to be methylated one way or another. I believe that both injectable Dbol and winstrol are still 17a methylated (or alkylated)- both of wich are liver toxic. However, injectable forms can bypass first-pass elimination- making the compound temporarily more bioavailable.

Shit, I gotta run to work- I am not explaining this well. Maybe I'll elaborate once I get to work.

peace.

Yeah, things like testosterone are just too damn hard to make orally bioavailable. Take test itself as the prime example. Oral versions like methyl-test have a short half-life, bad blood concentration swings, and are terrible on the liver for HRT purposes. And they STILL aren't very bioavailable. If you're taking methyltest at 30mg/day for HRT, normal males produce 5-10mg/day at most, so you're still taking 3-6x as much drug just to get "normal" blood levels of test. Andriol is even worse. Test undecanoate in oil, supposed to be absorbed via lymphatic system and bypass the liver, but my GOD does it have shitty absorption. If you could find a way to make oral testosterone that wasn't 17aa and had a decent bioavailability, you'd shortly be the proud owner of the richest and most dominant world-wide pharmaceutical company in the history of the world, and that's no exaggeration. No other company has been able to do it yet, so that's why drugs like that don't exist. And there's not much of a push to make drugs like that for legitimate reasons, even though bbers account for a large portion of their income they can't justify creating drugs specifically tailored to our needs and still remain legal lol.

With all of this being said, can wistral,,,stan qv 50 be consumed orally? I have been told that the same ammount injeted can be consumed in a small glass of water or grape juice. This would cut down on the every other day injections.
Is their truth to this?

yes, you can (and most people do) drink it.

A steroid cannot be 17AA and esterified at the same time since both of these modifications occur at the #17 carbon atom.

So, injectible anavar would still have a very short half-life and would have to be injected daily. Just like injectible d-bol; mostly it is taken orally because it's less of a pain than taking daily (or even twice daily) injections.

What I don't understand is why testosterone decoanate isn't the standard for HRT. It's high solubility would allow high concentrations without a lot of BA and the long half-life would give stable blood levels even with weekly injections.
