I am very sorry to hear of Shags Mother. Maybe the members here on Elite should be made aware of these things. At least we would all be able to show appropriate sympathy. She has many friends on here that I'm sure would love to send her a note.

See, what a LOT (not ALL) members here forget is that the mods DO NOT GET PAID - our positions, though we do reap other benefits, ARE NOT OUR "REAL JOBS"... we do the best we can - WHEN WE CAN.

And we are ALSO HUMAN.... I have typed things MANY times that in retrospect, I SHOULD NOT HAVE or could have said differently. But hindsight is 20/20. When I have made a mistake I have MORE THAN OWNED UP TO IT! However, if you piss me off I may or may not go after your cyber-jugular (usually depending on whether or not I have gotten some hehehheheheeee.... See, human side hehehehehhehe)

As for not disclosing the details of our personal lives. Some of us are very private and do not feel comfortable revealing such intimate details to all. I happen to be comfortable disclosing MUCH, but still there is A LOT that I WILL NOT (believe it or not, hehehehe).

I think that the members have to realize that WE are JUST LIKE YOU to a great degree - hangin' hear, spending a little time, sharing and gaining knowledge. When the chat board gets on my nerves - I just don't log on. Pure and Simple.

As for your complaint about post count.... it is just that most do not know you all that well. I feel ya about the "sheep" thing though - GOD, HOW I HATE THAT!!! ...but then again, this is my cross to bear LOL!

I do agree with you B.K.Mom. If a person is a MOD though, and can't be an assett to the board by not being around, should'nt someone else who is here every day be able to take their spot. I like all these people I mentioned, but what assett are they to the board if they are not here?
