it was almost like the ump froze up not expecting him to do that
you could see him ring him up 2x before he started running

I don't blame the batter or the White Sox, Perzinsky (or however you spell his name) did the smart thing by running, Paul did the dumb or non professional thing by not tagging him out (because he did pause and head toward the dugout befoer he ran to first) or throwing to first instead of rolling the ball to the mound. BUt, "BUT" the ump did make the universal "out" call with this arms which, in the post game interview, he claims to be just his strike call, so I blame the ump and his entourage (because they all looked the other way) for the game not continuing..
