my philosophy has always been
one box = one breakfast

although lately i've just been skipping breakfast and often lunch too. or i have an apple or some toast. I couldn't do that if i had to get to an office though.

I used to get the flavored Quaker Oatmeal but now I just get the regular kind with a little splenda and I'm done. I'm trying to get my kid's to have the flavored stuff, to hopefully start them on something a little more nutritious than the highest sugary stuff in the AM.

the regular flavored oatmeal packets have lots of sugar , too dont they? but i guess they have other nutrients that Trix or Fruit Loops doesnt have.

Yes, they do. That's why I changed to the unflavored kind. I'll still give my kids the flavored variety until they get hooked on "oatmeal", like drugs, and I'll do the old switcharoo on them when they're not looking.


Don't look it up, switcharoo is a word!
