Here's a math problem

3 3/4 + 4 3/4 = ?

The answer is supposedly 8 2/4

I say it's 8 5/4. If you divide 6/4 you get 1.5 not 1.15 or 1.2

Maybe my windows calculator is messed up?

ok fags I see where the problem is here. It is indeed 8 2/4 and thats because when you 6/4 and get 1.5, you add the whole number one into the 7 you got from 4+3, and the .5 in the 1.5 should be rounded up making it a 2. So there's the 2/4.

It would have been had I calculated circumference into the equation.

add the two up you get 34/4 = 8 2/4 = 8 1/2
