If you coat the fresh cuts with vaseline it will help the carved pumpkin last longer.

I used to do it every year. My girls LOVED it!

spray a chlorine/water based spray inside your pumpkin and it'll last longer. It kills the bacteria that eats at the pumpkin.

And I have three outside.
