Who would you choose??

This was brought up on the weekend and caused quite a roundtable discussion between the men and women let me tell you. I am curious as to the thinking of people here, married and unmarried.

If your sig other wife/gf made you choose between them and your family, could be over something major or minor, who would you choose.

Lets hear it and also state whether you are married, seeing someone or single.

Depends on what was done to get them to make you choose between them.

Family would win. If she expected me to make that choice, then she wouldnt be the woman for me anyway

I would not choose. How could you choose? A double edged sword and a lose/ lose situation.

Someone who asks you to choose is irrational and selfish.

Well, to me, if ur married, then the husband/wife IS your family and you always be there for them for better or worse. You should voice your opinion, but I, personally, would stay out of it

Despit everything I've been through with my family, I'd still have to chose them. If someone even expected me to make that choice then its a clear sign that we wern't meant to be together.

No way to answer that question without knowing the circumstances.

For example - lets say your brother raped your SO and your family is standing behind him.
