Who watched UFC?

ah I missed it. I had a birthday party to attend. Did belfort win? if so how? I think I've only seen him fight 3 times and everytime it was a fist fight (I'm not complaining).

yea I agree as a whole they all sucked.
Matt Serra's fight (they only showed the highlights as it only lasted a could of minutes) was cool and so was Matt fir's fight. When Pedro clocked that guys I was like holy shit... and had to rewind it and watch it on slo mo!!! Josh barnett's fight was good... I think Cunt-Ture is over rated.... Pedro kicked his ass their first fight.
Over all I like the Pride fights better than UFC... they don't stop it as fast... and have less rules... there seem to be a whole lot of rule for "no holds barred" fighting like the old days were.

I finally watched this last night.
That Pedro Hizzo fight was a great stand up fight!!! That dude's leg got all jacked up, and Pedro nailed that russian dude so bad his eyes were bleeding!! Great fight.

Which is better....
The UFC or the Pride fighting? I've watched plenty of UFC, and the grappling on the ground gets old pretty quick. I haven't checked out the Pride fighting yet, but it looks like there is more action.
I would like to see some good boxing matches. Seems like the best fights are getting postponed (the Morales/Barrera fight and the De La Hoya/Vargas fight).
I'm hopeful that the June 1st Rahman/Holyfied fight and the June 8th Tyson/Lewis fight don't have a similar fate.

The previous fight Vitor backed out of because of a injury to his arm. He has a history of backing out of fights (I believe the number is 3).
Vitor was offered a chance to fight Chuck "The Iceman" Lidell, but Vitor declined citing allegies.
I agree about Barnett though. I am not his biggest fan.

That guy Matt Hughes is pretty tough, I want to seem him fight the black dude with the dreads.
one thing I noticed with the last UFC is that the ref was quick to get the guys back on their feet again if they action got lame.

Matt Hughes has fought that guy. (Carlos Newton). That is who he took the belt off of. It was a bit of a controversial call. The rematch should be good.

I was at Dan Severn's Dangerzone this last weekend. Not much beats seeing that stuff live.

watching that stuff makes me want to get into martial arts again..... not that I want to get in fights and shit. but it's like a chess game to me.

I thought Frank Mir's shoulder lock on Pete Williams or the unbelievable display of Jiu Jitsu by Matt Serra were much more entertaining then the Rizzo fight.
Rizzo hits like a damn truck once he commits though.
