I don't know the outcome. It could be angry talks and everything would settle down or it could escalate into a major conflict. I will not defend Iran or even say we should not do something about their threats. I only note that there will be repercussions. I have never believed that threats should be taken lightly. IMHO, one should respond strongly to threats to prevent the threatening party from going further and to send a message to one's other enemies.
