who still wears a watch?

what? that's pretty weird.

I wear one all the time and probably own about 15 of em. it's my only material weakness

I don't wear one. The only time I carried one around was when I worked for a law firm. After having to keep track of every minute of my day, I will never wear or carry one around again.

once in a while i wear one but for the most part i dont..i use either the car stereos clock when in car or cell phone if any where but home

I have a severely abnormal psychological addiction to my watch.
It's my Swiss Army Officer's watch. It's waterproof so I never have to take it off. If I accidentally forget my watch, I freak.
I have problems.

I use a cockwatch

If I'm awake, I'm wearing a watch. And not some battery powered quartz piece of crap either, it's gotta be Swiss and go "tick-tock".

I wear a watch everyday, all the time unless Im asleep, or taking a shower. But I'm not that particular about what brand, just as long as it's durable and wont fucking stop working (I hate that with the cheap ass, but cute watches you see out there). So the one Ive been wearing for like 4 yrs is one my sister bought me and it's a Geneva, probably a no name brand but it has lasted me all these years and never one problem. I asked for this one for xmas this yr (Im pretty excited about it for some reason)

I have a bunch but currently stick w/ one silver one. Everyone here is on "Georgia Time" (i.e. get there when ya get there, son). Since I'm not on GA Time I get a kick out of seeing just how late GA Time makes u.

I hate the swiss army ones and I really don't like Tags. I hate a "busy" face.

Tags don't all have "busy" faces, but I know what you mean. A guy that works with me just got the Breitling Bentley. I fuggin hate that $35K piece of shit. I'd rather kill someone and get away with it than have that thing.

I wear a Tag Heuer too. Mine is very simple. SS & White Gold, never take it off. Since I travel for work often, I keep it on Hawaiian time (home) no matter where I am, I get homesick sometimes....

I only wear one when I'm out for extended periods of time, like more than half a day. I generally think it sucks to have to concern myself with what time of the day it is. But I do like how my watches look. :)

no rolex's in the house?

I've got three. A Submariner, an Air-King, and a Datejust. The Sub and Air-King are both stainless, the Datejust is 14k gold and stainless 2-tone.

Newer ones are 18k gold, but mine was made in 1966.

The Submariner is a Tudor, not a proper Rolex. The Tudor and Rolex Subs both have the same case, but the Tudor has a mass-produced ERA movement and the Rolex has a signed Rolex movement. Also the Tudor's bracelet is stamped and rolled instead of machined. It does say "ORIGINAL OYSTER CASE BY ROLEX GENEVA" on the back.

I do. I like it, im used to it and I do use it. Its also one of the fews jewelry options you have as a guy without looking like a gypsie

i NEVER take off my watch.
when i do, i have some odd obsession to look at my empty wrist about every 22 seconds (i'm not really sure how often because... i don't have my watch on). I need the date and a second hand and i have around 4 good watches. I just got a new invicta last week as a gift that is SO cool looking.

I have i think, 6 watches :( and all the batteries are kaput but one
so i wear it when i work or when we go out or something

Which watches look the best? Movado?

A watch should be purely for looks since you can tell the time on your cell phone, and car, and comp.

As hait said, a watch is a piece of jewlery a man can wear without looking like a homo.

I use the rotating bezel on my watch to time rest intervals between sets in the gym. Legibility is a definite plus.

You wear a watch while working out?

Seems uncomfortable.

I wear watches all the time. I try to buy a new one every year to add to the collection, I have all kinds. My favorite brand is Tissot, they just seem to produce looks I like. I also have a bunch of pocket watches and always buy them as wedding gifts because it is what I would want to get. A huge pet peeve of mine is the Tag thing. Just to make this clear the company was founded by a Swiss man with the name Heuer. That is pronounced HOYER not HUGHER and 'Tag' is tog not 'tag'. So with this said please refer to them as TOG HOYER and not TAG HUGER. Thank you.

Isn't TAG an acronym, and therefore spelt out in all-caps? I think it stands for "The Alpha Group" or something like that. Calling a Heuer watch a "Tag" is sort of like calling a Chevrolet a "GM". I'm sure the Heuer watches aren't any worse than any other mass-produced Swiss watch with an ERA movement, but they're whored out to every shopping-mall jewelry store, and even Sam's Warehouse, the brand has no cachet at all. There are many inexpensive Swiss watches that are far more interesting.

I wear a watch when I'm cleaned up. Mostly I'm in some hydraulic pit or some dirty auto plant.....I clean up pretty nice I've been told. Thats when I break out the watch.

Never when working out though.
