:dance2: No work today building on the same block as my work is burning down and we all had to get out of dodge. Think I am going to go to the beach. ;)

that is a beach??? I thought in order to have a beach you had to have an Ocean?

Anything else should be referred to by its proper name... a lake... a man made pee pool... whatever... but beach????

It's not a nude beach per se...but we are allowed to wander about topless up here, so I guess technically it's semi-nude. Sqt takes full advantage of that I hear. ;)

How can that be? I thought all you Northies were all about the environment. Is it really that bad? Is there some area of the bay ( or what ever ) that has like a marina and homes and stuff.

We have a good size lake complex here in STL that is called Lake of the Ozarks. It is actually overdeveloped now. You can't even really swim in the lake without smelling piss and beer in some of the "party coves". WWW.partycove.com I think shows what goes on here.

I really wish that I could find a lake close that is not million dollar yatchs and homes for a summer cottage. We thought about getting something at the lake but I really couldn't even get a small boat in that lake with what they got tooling around.

Well there are tons of other lakes and beaches that are pristine and beautiful up here...but not the one in the middle of Toronto. There is a marina, boating clubs and all that..but again, they don't swim in the water. Too much nastiness unfortunately.
