I still smoke and yes I want to quit but will do it whe I am good and ready meaning when I am fed up like you former smokers were.
I don't blow smoke in non smokers faces and I mind my own business.
I have to say congrats for those who have quit but at the same time like someone said above its the former smokers who do the most bitching and whining.They seem to forget that they were assholes just like we smokers were at one time. Sorry like I said congrats on quitting but its the ones who never started that deserve the most respect, not the ones who smoked around the non smokers for years, quit and got on a soapbox belittling the very people they used to be like.

You're gonna quit when you're good and ready, eh? From the way you make it sound you mean: I am so mentally weak that I won't stop until I can't take people ridiculing me anymore. What kind of shit is that?! If that's what it takes then throw those fuckin' things out and chew some gum or something. Does it please you every time you inhale that grey cloud of death and let it saturate your lungs with all that tar? Ever wonder what you smell like to people who don't smoke?
This is in no way a personal attack, Milhouse, but you make it sound like you need someone to keep harping on you to quit. Why even get fed up by people like me? Quit for YOURSELF, and then do the bitching.

What I am saying is whether I smoke or not is my fucking business and nobody elses. And as far as "being fed up " is concerned it has nothing to do with the ex smokers moaning and pissing like a bunch of reformed whores telling me every time I smoke they are smoking one too. If thats the case then I guess they owe me half a pack lol. "Being fed up like you ex smokers" means one morning I wake up like you did and say "nope, I ain't smoking anymore"

Why is it everbody spouts about us being able to have the freedom to smoke weed, do other softcore drugs or steroids as all of which have a downside if used or abused longterm yet as soon as somebody says they smoke the politically correct jump all over em?I can think of things that happen in society that are 10 times worse than some poor schmoe lighting up a fag.

Don't analyze me and come up that I am weak because I smoke. I am sure if I spent a couple days with any so called strong minded individuals I could find out what bad habits they have. And we all have bad habits, just some of us can admit it thats the difference.

I don't go around blowing smoke in non smokers faces so I think the ex smokers who rant about it should stop blowing smoke up everbody's ass cause its quite hypocritical. Instead of ranting maybe offer suggestions like some of you have about your experience quitting, how you got thru withdrawal and what things you do today to keep you from picking it up again. Just my 2 cents.

And by the way I would feel this way about what I just said even if I never picked up a cigarette in my life. To each his own.

I can't help hating the smell of cigs. I just can't stomach the smell.

Friday night my friend and I went to a club and it was very smoky, I didn't complain though, I was too busy shaking my booty.

they are attempting to do the same thing in Toronto on June 1st.

They tried to do it in 1998 but it backfired after 2 weeks but whether or not it passes it will happen sooner or later down the road regardless.
