who shops on Amazon?

I do. I have prime. Worth it. I can buy something at its at my door the next day.

I shop at Amazon for everything. Books, electronics, even household stuff if I don't feel like making the trip to Target. Download their app and you can scan an item at a store and skip paying sales tax...its at your house the next day.

I don't write reviews, really. I buy so much stuff, at least two or three items a week. Lol.

In the rainforest?

If you shop online a lot pine is Worth it plus you get their intant video service. But skipping sales tax is coming to n end most states re putting laws in place to make online companies charge sales tax almost every state in me England here I live does and so does Cali

Sucks about the sales tax thing. If there's no brick and mortar in the state the customer is in they shouldn't be charged sales tax. That whole interstate commerce thing.

But hey, who cares about that troublesome Constitution? Especially where opportunities to increase states revenues are concerned.

free two day shipping or 3.99 for next day. I would only buy prime stuff though, the whole purpose of Amazon for me is to have it the next day. They're promising same day arrival in the future...hopefully.

so you wouldn't buy a non-prime item at all? Even if it was cheaper than you could find it anywhere else? Or it was the one you really wanted and you didn't want any of the similar ones that were non-prime?

I dont buy on amazon that much anymore, if I want something in particular I look for it on woot.com which is amazon owned lol, it leads you to the deals

Sure, if it was something I couldn't find anywhere else. I bought some herbal diuretics on Amazon and they were not Prime. Prime is the main reason I use Amazon though. Its my main place for impulse buys..I can buy something from my phone and with one click checkout you just think of something and its yours...I think I bought teeth whitener from my phone when I was out on the lake a couple weeks ago. Hahaa!

I get a lot of stuff at Amazon but need to have it shipped to Vermont because not many of the things I order will ship to my Canadian address
And yes, I sometimes write reviews.
Prices are rock bottom at Amazon...love it

Ah, that's right! We watched a movie once that way (wifey has a prime acct.).

I look for prime because I want stuff actually being shipped by Amazon.

I buy everything on amazon. Even my vitamins come from their subscribe and save program. I buy a lot of Blu-rays on there as well. Media items like CD's, games and movies fluctuate in price a lot on Amazon though.

you're talking about mere solicitation and nexus and apportionament of income and public law 86-272, and that only covers interstate commerce as it relates to income tax...the threshold for compelling collection and remittance of sales tax is much lower...don't need nexus (e.g., bricks and mortar)...fyi :nerd:

I think there should be an internet sales tax; though lower than state taxes....2-3%

Damn, I didn't know they had so much stuff on there. Being a broke ass jngr I never even bother looking at stuff I can't afford.

I started my Amazon account when I bought a Kindle Fire. Started buying books, and then noticed how easy it was to buy other stuff too. Once they have your CC info on file, you can buy stuff with one click. :). Now I buy all kinds of crap from Amazon. I'd much rather browse on Amazon.com than go to a real store.
And I usually get free shipping too, even without a Prime account.
I think Prime is 75 bucks.

amazon is genius. They make it so easy to buy stuff. My wife is going on there more and more looking for stuff. That's almost always her first go to place now.

Do you find good deals? Do you write reviews? Is "prime" worth it? :)

Good deals. I don't write reviews but I've read a number of reviews and if the book is about a subject that is in the least bit controversial you'll get a lot of one and two star reviews by people that obviously haven't read the book but are simply ideologically opposed.

I love amazon for stuff. If you have a student email address you can get a free prime membership too.

I avoid a 10% local state sales tax too, which is awesome.

fuck really?? I gotta get on that shit

I still have both of my student email addies

Just shopped there for the first time today in probably 6-8 mo's. Found season 2 walking dead blueray for 31 bucks. Was 50 preorder every where else. Ridculuous!

I saw an article that claimed Amazon is the biggest competitor to google right now. Not sure if it was true or not.

Amazon is allegedly looking into opening nationwide distribution centers to offer next day and same day delivery :o
