I've never heard of a store where you can just walk in, lay down some cash, and start puffing away.

There are "compassion clubs" who sell pot to anyone with a medical condition, but you've got to prove you have cancer/AIDS/etc. These clubs are tolerated by law-enforcement for the most part, although they do get busted from time to time.

Pot is available by mail order, from a few places, alhtough I doubt they ship to the US.

I saw some show on this place called "Blunt Brothers" or something. It was a documentary about a store in BC that selled herb to anyone who walked in.
