How old do you think I am? And I've been self employed for 16 years. What social security??? Seriously, because your parents cover your cost of living, you can afford to take AS where if you lived on your own and worked at Burger King, a grocery store, retail, etc you probably couldn't afford to take juice. So indirectly your parents are financially supporting your illegal drug habit. If you can live with that, cool. But if I was your old man and I found out about it we'd both be going to the hospital to remove my foot from your ass!
I guess that's why you don't have kids. :qt:

I live at home with mum and she doesn't know, which is a good thing...She asks 'you're getting big boy, must be doing something right' But in a couple of weeks i think she'll ask and i'll have no problem telling her..When i was younger, like 13 she wanted to get me on test cause i was a short and about 45kg so i don't think she'd have a problem now ;)

Wow, parents that actually encourage it.
That's a new one.

You know nothing about me. My point was that you brag about being older, and more inclined to knowledge for that reason. I don't dispute that age and experience have their merit, but no need to condescend younger folk. In addition, if parents ARENT'T willing to LAY OUT THEIR LIFE for their kids, they should not have any. If one chooses to have children, that should be their ultimate reason to live. I don't have plans to do that, so therefore I am postponing that ordeal. YMTC. :o

Anyway, I know this is a joke post... but I assume it had some intention behind it. Hiding from parents is just like hiding from the girlfriend, wife, brother, or cops, IMO. If you choose not to share your personal life with others, then atleast be consistent - especially when its illegal.

hey thats what parents are for. if things get rough out there they should be there to let u get ur self on track. but in saying that living at home blows donkeys
Close, but not quite right (mother of a 22 year old here and I had him at 19 so do the math ...).

When you get to be over a certain age/maturity level (and there's like no hard/fast rule here so I can't say "when you achieve X age ...") while most people want to help their kids, there comes a point in time where you have to say enough is enough, really. When you're staring 50 in the face, and knowing that bringing your adult child into your home is going to totally fuck up your budget by eating into your extra cash :whatever: You have to take a hard line.

Sorry guys, we didn't sign on for that. It's our job to get you to adulthood with certain basic skill sets. We are not the room/board/meals/laundry/higher education/media entertainment/cleaning committee, ad infinitum. We'd like to have a life, too. We've already MADE our sacrifices in the front end (diapering, feedings, college fund, etc.). Anything you get AFTER age 18 is gravy, seriously. You don't deserve it, you sure as hell aren't owed it, be thankful you're parents have it to share, but DO NOT frigging take it for granted or abuse it. They love you, they will share, but realize that what you're taking, you are taking, literally, out of their mouths.

So with that being said, parents are obligated to devote their life and income to their child until their kid decides to support him/herself??? Once again, this sense of entitlement is what absolutely blows my mind. 90% of the reason I don't have kids is that I wouldn't want them being influenced by kids like you that think they deserve the shit you are given.

Wait until you have kids of your own. How would you feel about your kid being 25 and sleeping under your roof for free while he was doing illegal drugs? And guess what? If you get busted for possession the cops can seize your parent's home/assets(cars, etc) and put a hold on their bank account since their name is on the mortgage. What happens then??? You all go live in Uncle X's house and become a burden to his family as well??? All because YOU couldn't wait to do AS AFTER moving out. Now that's some selfish shit.

I'm sure your parents are thinking the same thing, all things considered.
