I know a fair bit of guys who are 20-25 who have good jobs and live with their parents. Its not just bludgers living at home until 25. Differenet families have different values, americans are usually like that, but if you look at other cultures, its a whole different thing.

This guy is 100% right!!! Over sees it isnt weird AT ALL to live at home untill youre 25 or even untill you get married...

I wouldn't have a problem with it if they are pulling their weight and contributing. But I know several guys over that age frame sponging off mom and dad. Even commiting crimes and smokin crack, etc. while living at home. Just amazes me that their parents put up with it and even continue to bail them out of trouble. What a waste of life.

Hell, a lot of guys that are older and married or live with their girlfriends are faced with the same problem. If my old lady didn't like it I'd tell her to not let the door hit her in the ass on the way out.

And furthermore, if you're living under your parent's roof and taking gear you are either too young to take gear or you should be spending your cash on finding your own place instead. Just my 2 cc's.

Not necessarily. I'm 20 and live at home but that's only because I was going to a jc to play football. If I wasn't playing a sport though I'd agree that money should be spent on moving out

1st off you're too young to take gear. And jc football is hardly a justifiable reason for your parents to cover your living expenses so you can take gear. I'm sure your parents would not be pleased to know you were bringing illegal drugs into their home and using them while they pay the bills whether you were playing a sport or not. In fact, I'll trace your IP addy, do a search for your home addy and phone # and give them a call to find out. If they say it's cool I'll let you know.

My ex gf married some shmo and they lived in her parent's house for 2 years 1 bedroom away from theirs. She was Eastern European and in their culture this is totally acceptable. It's also normal for the parent to move in with their kids when they get old. Better him than me!!!

But hey, I paid for my classes, worked a job, and paid rent to them so it's not like I was free loading off. I worked out a budget with them and they told me how much I should save and how much to set aside for whatever I wanted to do and I used the extra money to buy my gear. I realize most people say wait till I'm 21 at least so it's only a year off and it's my body. I only plan on doing one more cycle so I really don't think it'll be that harmful if I use it correctly. And I will be going to a D-1 next year (again I'll be paying the way) so it's not just jc football. And you've given me some solid advice before so I know you know your shit, I just disagree with you on this account.

Now that I have more 411 on your situation, that sounds pretty fair to me. Obviously your 'rents don't want you to have it too easy, so you are well aware of the ammenities they are providing for you unlike these other spoiled brats. BTW-an old stereo speaker padded with paper towels makes for a great hiding place if the back can be taken off by removing a few screws. Hid my rolling papers, bowl, bong,weed, switchblade, brass knuckles, Kung Fu Stars, M-80's, etc in mine all through high school(I was a juvenile delinquent. lol). My mom was a nazi about snooping through my shit and she never found any of my contraband. Another good spot is you air conditioner vent if it screws on/off easily-(but for gear-not when the heat is on!!!)

lol, luckily they're not to "snoopish" and I just keep it in a box in my closet. That sounds like a pretty hard core child hood too. Uh oh maybe I shouldn't have said that if you do decide to call my parents...
