Does anyone here have any crazy eBay stories? Ever got scammed? Crazy items?

Once saw a car that had a jet engine, that was a lil nuts. Also saw a listing "Almost square piece of cardboard" and it was at $2.

I've bought designer clothes, electronics, textbooks...all kinds of shit that I can't even find in my city. It rules.

I'm currently looking for an alien baby in formaldehyde. I saw it there a week ago, and I want to buy it. So cool.

I've only been scammed twice.

Once for $135 (2 subs & a box) - This was in the days before you had to register a CC to sell, so anyone could make a fake account, sell a few cheap things, then scam...

Once for $3 (CD) - Really made me mad b/c I still have the Money Order slip somewhere, and the guy left me a "non-paying bidder warning".

The one I saw was quite large. I think it was a prop in a movie or something...looked creepy as hell. lol Cost around $50.

The only things about eBay that are fairly lame are:
1. Lots of cool things are prohibited from being listed.

2. There is no customer help line. (I can see why, as it'd require a much larger staff due to the amount of 'tards out there, but damn, when you legitimately have a non-idiotic problem, you'd like to get some help.

You rock! I used to love that show. I would love to see a new show, but only if it sticks to the same principles that the original had. If they start trying to screw with the premise, I'd just be pissed.
