I don't want to start any arguments...but you are ALL American! And you should be proud! I lived in the US for 10 years. I was lucky enough to do my high school and College ther and I fell in love with the county, the people's warmth, the openness, the women and everything about it.

But it never stopped to amaze me that when people asked me where I was from and I told them, they would reply "so am I!!!" I would look at them with a little trepidation and ask them "when you go home for the holidays how do you get home?" They would answer I take my car to the turnpike into NJ...I would smile pat them on the back and then reply "I take a Boeing 747" .see what I'm getting at

Well, I AM A REAL ITALIAN... I never said I was a resident of Italy, (although my family still has property over there)... I am American first, of course, and I was not born in Italy, but I'm only 2nd generation American. My heritage/nationality is Italian, but I am American to the core... Happy now that I've specified??? The fact is, Italians in this country are proud of thier heritage because of how the Italian people were treated when they first came here...
