Who Has Read "harry Potter" And Who Will See The Movie?

I'm thinking of reading the book as well. But isn't it just a kid's book? Also, I know its a thick tomb ... how long did it take you to get through? With books over 400 pages, I start to lose interest in the story.

What do you think?

They're all a little over 300 pages and a very easy read, well worth the time.

Thanks for all the information about the Harry Potter book. I will be buying it in the next few days. I plan on reading it before the book. I'll start with book one.

the last book is 800ish pages, so it can get thick.. easy reads though, and after you get to chapter 4 of the first one, its smooth and fun sailing.

stick with it and you WILL love it...

I have read all four books. They are worth reading.
A little juvenile but that's ok.
If you enjoyed Roald Dahl as a kid you will also like the Harry Potter series.
Yes going to see the film with my mom (the books are hers).
