Since you added the term "good looking" I'd go with a man anytime.
Simple fact, ladies, it's a sexist world still. And going with good looks, a woman does better until the impact of age catches up. Men aren't affected the same way, so a good-looking man would benefit much longer.
Now, if we were talking ordinary looking people, a woman is better. With EEO crap, a woman who applys herself can go far. Sure, some places still have glass ceilings, but I know women who've done much less than me who are making more money and have better careers and it's because they have a set of breasts, not ability. I wouldn't mind having an edge like that in getting the good jobs.
