Cause I like playing on my 53 inch 16*9 widescreen high def tv from the comfort of my couch for starters. And xbox live is the shit.

Also I don't like using a keyboard and mouse to play games.

My friend got his and had to soder the chip in himself (the first time he fucked up big time), so he sent the whole box to whoever he got it from and the guy for. He still seems to have issues now and then but he most have over 60 games downloaded now.

You can flash the onboard bios. It's free, and you can upgrade at any time via another flash. Use the 007 exploit.

I'm a huge fan of pc gaming, especially internet games, but I'm also a huge console fan and knee deep in FFX.

Most excellent game.


BTW: Don't compare pc versions of games to console versions, as the pc version will 99% of time destroy the console version.

GTA:Vice City is much, much better on pc.

FPS, always better on PC.
Sports games, always better on console.
RTS, PC.
