Boxers are very good with kids. It is a common trait, like pissing all over the place when you come home and wagging their ass instead of their tail/nub.

I had an 85 lbs black/fawn boxer. Great dog. He thought he was a lap dog. We had to get rid of him when we had babies. It looks like we will be getting another one summer '07.

Lol that's my boxer. He pees on people's feet sometimes when they first come to the house.

Kinda funny wifey says no to a pit but yes to a boxer-which is almost the same thing with a very different name. I like both boxers and Mastiffs but they both seem to have more health issues than pits. Plus, all Mastiffs drool like a motherfucker-wifey should just love that going all over the Robb & Stucky Furniture. lol

BTW-Cane Corsos (Italian Mastiff) are very similar to pits, are larger in size, and don't drool as much as other Mastiffs. Another cool dog that's pretty rare and ferocious is The Dogo Argentino. It looks like a big white Pit. From what I hear, Cane Corsos and Dogos would lay the smack down on most pits in a fight. Then again, that's their owners claiming this so who knows????

I think a boxer and pit are somewhat similar size wise and maybe the fact that they are both sport dogs, but for one when my boxer runs out of the house I don't have to worry about him getting into fights with other dogs. From what I have read even though they are great dogs there is more to worry about with the pit.
