I like watching other people do laundry. Especially at laundry matts. There is one about three blocks from here, I go up there and switch peoples stuff around while there watching TV...

I don't mind it - separating my colors, contemplating temperature, cycles - hand wash or dry clean?
And in the end I get nice little piles of clean clothing. Mission accomplished.

That's fun, but not as fun as when they put the money in, forget to press the start button then throw a fit when they come back 30 minutes later.

I don't mind separating, washing or even folding, then putting it awa..but one thing about it that I ABSOLUTELY DETEST is washing and folding the girls' socks and underwear - GEEZE! They are 16, 18, and 20 months apart in age so everything is juuuuuuusssssst about the same size, but NOT- GOD, there is a pile of unfolded socks sitting in my chair calling to me:

If you want to avoid ironin ganything, hang it on hangers then when you take a shower hang them in the bathroom, the steam takes out about 90% of the wrinkles.

For pants hang them upside down so they come out wrinkle free.

The best out there is Dreft - the baby detergent. Get's out protein stains and doesn't shred your clothes like bleach.

Plus, you don't have to use laundry softners with it.
