who eats fruit while cutting?

Don't fall for the high protein crab all over this board. You can still get cut and have carbs. I did the high protein diet for 6 years and my bodyfat was always between 5 and 8%, but my energy level was low and it also effected my power. Now days, I just eat healthy, lots of fruits, vegables, and lean meats while keeping the fat intake low. My bodyfat is still at 8% but goes down to 5% when doing cardio. My energy and power are going thru the roof. Getting lean just boils down to one thing, you must not eat more then your body needs or it will be stored as fat. Carbs don't make people fat, it's mixing carbs with fat, that is the problem.
 
I'll give you a real voice of reason. There is an index called the Orac that tells you how much antioxidants a certain food has. Berries are WAY high on it. They are better for you then spinach as far as antioxidents go no BS. Instead of OJ if you toss Blueberries Strawerries and Rasberries in a blender with water and a few packets of Splenda you will get tons more vitamins then OJ while getting more fiber and lots less sugar. Plus it tastes great. You can buy a frozen berry combo at the supermarket with those berries in it. Give it a shot you won't be dissapointed. BTW I will admit to stealing this from the people who write the Protein Power books but knowledge this good should be shared.

Couldn't agree more! Fruit is especially great post workout.
 
I always used fruits when I cut.. Despite some voices which would argue that fruits are evil , fruits haven't had any negative impact on my cutting diet... I always put bluberries or bananas in my whey protein shake !
I have at least two servings daily..Works for me!!

Always a thumb up for veggies and fruits!!:verygood:

CUTTING AND EATING FRUIT NO PROBLEM. EAT FRUIT CUT AND COMPETE PROBLEM. I NEVER EAT FRUIT,SUGAR,FRUIT JUICES, OR DAIRY FOR A CUTTING CONTEST DIET. JUST FOR CUTTING FRUIT IS FINE.
