I was never really able to open up to someone anyways, probbly cause the thought of looking weak.

But even when I try to tell open up a little, not one person could actually listen. Most people try to top your stuff with bigger things about themselves.

while the thought of talking to a squirrel is comicial and I'm guessing you're kidding.....The squirrel would be the best thing. But it won't listen and then say hey lets go get some drinks.

Personally I don't confide in anyone (but pisses off girlfriends like you wouldn't believe). It's hard to find a good listener who will (a) really listen and (b) not act like you're damaged afterwards. Finding a good bud takes time.

You're not talking to the squirrel, flex. You're talking to yourself. (And I do have a squirrel that comes daily for peanuts and cheezits)

I trust myself 100% when it comes to what is best for me (when sober and of sound mind).

If you are looking to vent and get something off your chest, then I would call a friend that is trustworthy.

I talk to my hubby if the problem relates to us as a couple/family. He's got a lot of stress w/ his job so I tend NOT too let him in on minor problems. Yes, I shelter him!

My daddy is also a fantastic listener.. I cherish my daddy's words of wisdom too! He knows me sooooo well and tells me like it is... STRAIGHT UP- NO KID GLOVES!

Jamie, my best pal, knows ALLL my secrets! She's a trust worthy pal with great listening skills!

Soooo....I guess it ALL depends on the "problem" as too who I pick for a sounding board!
