Who closed my Plifter.com thread?

Interesting that after 430 views, many posts and 2 days it got closed considering 99% of the insults were thrown in the first 10 posts.

Funnier is that a moderator made the last comment and then it was closed.

So unless the owner of this board closed it I feel an explanation is in order.

That and there are threads 10 times more offensive than that one here.

I don't need you to tell me whether I that thread is pathetic or not. I can be as pathetic as I want to be being this is still the free world.

I cordially invite the mod who closed my thread to either pm me or comment here. Thank you.

If you don't then you should have your mod duties stripped for not being able to back up what you do.

Not for nothing, but who really cares what your opinion is about a particular thread? If it's not violating George's standard of conduct on the board, why should it be closed? Actually these personal attacks on him are against the rules bud. Also, I read this board several times a day, just usualy don't post because half of the threads are mindless dribble. I have been on this board far longer then you and for you to say things like this to me would make you a little pompous IMO.

As for the posts about karma, it has not been going on as long and is a little different as nobody is being hurt. The main reason why they are not being shut is because they are hopfully only a fad like all the poles being used when they were a new feature.

whether it should have been locked or not I don't know, but I read the thread, and I have to say that it's getting old, and a little embarrassing for the participants involved. I found nothing funny about the pictures posted either, it was the gayest thread I've seen on this board in months.......and that's saying alot. I don't want to get involved in any feuds, but I don't recall any recent threads started by plifter that were started to blatantly roll on someone. I honestly don't understand people's infatuation with that guy. As far as mindless dribble goes on the chat section, well you should read the other sections espec the anabolic section where you see 10 times more stupid shit said by alot of neophytes and know nothing so called guru's.

Personally, I think it was uncalled for to lock the thread. On the Chat and Conversation board, threads like those are fun to read, and you can tell that by the number of views.

Search back for a thread called "Hey Goatfucker" and you will see that "flaming" makes the board interesting and more enjoyable.

ORGANON, if you are going to lock threads that you dislike, you should make a conscientious effort to lock the ones plifter made making fun of members as well. I disagree with all locking, but at least be consistent.

I have to agree somewhat with Organon, not because he's a MOD. But I think plifter needs alittle protection for his own good. Some guys don't know when to stop a slagging. Some guys can take it real good (RyanH is one example) but we don't know what goes throught the minds of other more vulnurable members here. Although I, like 90% of you guys here take most things said on e/f with a 'pinch of salt', some other's find great comfort in the friendships they've developed here (I do for one) and respect you guys for alot more than we care to see sometime's.
I'm holding my own as to my opinions on plifter, but before entering this chat board the administrators ask us (to quote)

"A forum for all non-bodybuilding talk! Be as nice as you can be!"

Now I don't always follow this rule 100% myself, but I try to steer clear of flaming or slagging off some of the less 'hardened' member's here.

If you felt that strongly you should have done this Friday instead of Sunday.

I have to agree with you here milhouse, and I enjoy most of your threads here, and GS's too. I don't think you set out to to hurtfull and spitefull to plifter. He does bring alot on himself, but we should'nt kick a man when he's down, unless of course we felel threatened by him !.
I know if I flamed you or GS or frackle, freak etc it would be taken in the light I gave it, ie. you'd give back as good as you received. We's have a little fun and it'll be over. But I don't think it's the same with plifter.
To be honest, if I was plifter I'd take a long hard look at myself and admit my failures. I'd log on under another name and start over again.
Btw Milhouse, some of those photos were very funny, they lead me to look for more like them on www.bangedup.com and www.uglypeople.com

But overall I think we should cut plifter some slack.

Ryan H does the same thing but it seems to be ok with george------He stirrs up more shit then anyone---I think it would be safe to say that almost all of his threads should be locked if one should lock plifters-----But they won't because ryan does it in a more presentable way. I can see why OC locked the thread. But what do we do about a guy like Plifter? I mean, I just cluck my tongue and shake my head. You would think that after being flamed as badly as he had been THE FIRST time he would, I don't know, just go away. BUT HE PERSISTS!
